The ESSAR School heralds itself within the 225 Acre Vadinar Township by the 38.50 Mt. high Clock Tower, that holds the Township’s streets on one Axis & the School’s Courtyards on the other.
Articulated to fit within the aesthetic idiom established by the urban design guidelines of the Master Plan, the School re-establishes the traditional krierian spatial organization of its genetic typology – as an analogous city (for children) within the larger City (of the township). Elements like the Clock Tower, City Square, Courtyards, Arcades & Collanades, Grand Flights of Stairs, Hypostyle Halls, etc. evoke a De Chirico-esque urbanscape of memory, imagebility & discovery.
